How to Brew
Grind Coffee
Medium-fine, like sea salt.
Prepare
Place the paper filter in the dripper. Rinse it with hot water to remove paper taste and preheat the brewer.
Add Coffee
Place dripper on your mug or carafe. Add ground coffee and gently shake to level the bed.
Bloom
Start your timer. Pour about twice the weight of coffee in water (ex: 20g coffee → 40g water). Let it sit for 30–45 seconds to release gas.
Pour Water
Continue pouring slowly in circles, keeping the water level even. Aim for total brew time of 2:30–3:30 minutes.
Serve
Once the water has drained, remove the dripper and enjoy.
Tips for Better Brews
Use water around 200°F (93°C).
Pour in slow, steady circles to evenly saturate the coffee.
Keep your total brew time within target to avoid over or under extraction.
Stir or swirl before serving for even flavor.
